These Healthy Banana Brownies are fudgy, fast, and sweetened mostly by bananas—perfect when you want a treat that feels good to share. Give them a try for your next potluck, picnic, or holiday platter; they’re simple, budget-friendly, and guaranteed to disappear first.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe bananas about 1½ cups mashed
  • cup creamy peanut butter 90 g
  • cup unsweetened cocoa powder 30 g
  • 2.3 oz dark chocolate 85% cocoa chopped (65 g)

Instructions
 

  • Mash bananas in a mixing bowl until mostly smooth. Stir in peanut butter until fully combined.
  • Mix in cocoa powder until no dry spots remain. Fold in chopped dark chocolate.
  • Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment, leaving overhang. Spread batter evenly in the pan.
  • Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 20–25 minutes, until the center is just set and a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Cool completely in the pan on a rack. Lift out using parchment and slice into 16 squares.

Notes

Use spotty, very ripe bananas for the best sweetness and texture.
For nut-free, use sunflower seed butter and nut-free chocolate.
Texture is extra fudgy when chilled; try refrigerating before slicing for clean cuts.
